Method
- Make a slit along the length of each date, as shown in the image below and remove the seeds.
- Spoon about ½ tsp of peanut butter into each date.
- Dip the filled dates into the melted chocolate and place them on a plate lined with grease-proof paper.
- Sprinkle grated nuts over the chocolate-coated dates and gently press so they adhere well.
- Refrigerate the dates until the chocolate sets completely.
Notes
- You can use any nut butter you prefer.
- Feel free to top the dates with any nuts or dried fruits of your choice.
- If using dried fruits, choose slightly tart varieties to balance the natural sweetness of dates.
